Which payment processors does Fleetwire support?
Stripe (recommended), Square, and PayPal for online payments — connected to your own account, so payouts go straight to your bank. You can also record in-person and manual payments, or add your own custom methods.
Can I take cash, check, or Venmo?
Yes. Mark a booking paid by cash, check, voucher, Venmo, Cash App, or any custom method you set up. The payment is logged against the reservation so your records stay complete, even for in-person deals.
Can I add a payment method that isn't listed?
Yes. Create your own custom payment methods — a local wallet, a bank transfer, even Bitcoin — and use them to mark bookings paid alongside your online processor.
Does Fleetwire store card numbers?
No. For online payments, card data is handled and stored by your processor (Stripe, Square, or PayPal), which is PCI-compliant. Fleetwire never stores raw card numbers on its own servers.
Can I hold a card deposit with any processor?
Card-authorization deposits work best with Stripe, which is why it's recommended. You can still collect payments through Square or PayPal and handle deposits according to your setup.
